Kaneez Fatima from Narketpally, Nalgonda was burnt and left to fend for herself. She had keloids in her neck and ears. Like all burn victims, she was traumatised with the reaction of people around her. She wished, like every other girl to get married and was being rejected because of her appearance. She came in for one of the camps conducted by our volunteer doctors. Her keloids were removed and her ear was reconstructed with the help of plastic surgery. She left the camp a happier person and even brought back some of her friends who were in need of medical aid in the subsequent camps.
